I grew up knowing that I wanted to live in a warm country, speak another language, have an art-creative and entrepreneurial lifestyle, and make a bigger impact in the world.

 

For the first three decades, I worked for the private and public sectors as an architect, team leader, project manager, development manager, and transformational asset manager, also building my property investment portfolio that was financing my own construction projects, but I had a tag at my heart that I was destined to make a bigger impact.

What I discovered was that many architects express a desire for a larger vision in life but feel stuck and frustrated. So, I made it my mission to help architects connect with their vision, find their drive, expand their thinking and commit to themselves and turn their goals into reality.

​

After having spent 30 years in the property industry, I have come to the conclusion that architecture education failed to equip architects with the necessary business and leadership skills. This gap in education puts architects at a disadvantage when compared to other industry professionals and ultimately prevents them from achieving the success they desire.

 

I understand that not all architects aspire to start their own businesses, but they all desire to lead a stable and financially secure life, which means they must be skilled to stay in the game. Early in my career, I focused on my own growth and development by hiring coaches and studying business and leadership skills while creating my own business.

As I recognized gaps in architectural education, I established Get Coaching Pty Ltd and developed the Architect2Entrepreneur Method.

 

The Architect2Entrepreneur Program serves as a solution to the gaps in architectural education, providing essential business and leadership skills to complement the technical aspects of the architect's role and ensuring architects have the necessary tools for a successful career.
